I've just finished reading the Quaran and I've found that six Suras start with the letters ALM (after ofcourse, the usual opening; In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful).

These are the Suras:

[2:1] A.L.M.
[3:1] A.L.M.
[29:1] A. L. M.
[30:1] A. L. M.
[31:1] A. L. M.
[32:1] A. L. M.

This reminded me of IAM. When saying ALM in the mind it sounds similar to IAM.. doesn't it?

Then there is the OM or AUM sound which is considered holy in Hinduism and Buddhism.

What other religions have similar sacred sounds?
