Namaste
Couple of days i read "Spinal Breathing pranayama" by Yogani and it worked good. I started to visualize spinal nerve while sitting in padmassana, and after about 15 of minutes i got a burning sensation going through my spine, up and down. When i finished my practice a had a great feelings of peace, joy and silence. So on the next day i tried to "do" this practice in a corpse pose, and it just not worked. No sensations on my spine, absolutely nothing is changed. What do you recomend to to? Is that possible to do spinal breathing in a corpse pose? |

Doing it in Padmasana might mess up your knees over a long period (years) of time. Hence a more gentle Siddhasana is normally preferred. |

NoDogma, my friend recomended me Siddhasana also, because there is pressure on muladhara area. He said it may be very helpful for kundalini-related practices like SB. Thank you I was vipassana-meditator for about 5 years, always meditating in padmassana and for beginning it was painful but after year of practice everything is stabilized :) |
