you wanted to detach from the ego
but the ego kept screaming to be heard
you wanted to nullify all your worldly desires
but the world enchanted you, seduced you, and beckoned you to surrender to Her
on your knees, you begged for fulfillment
you yearned for a full and devastatingly blissful experience
combining inside and outside, light and dark, male and female, magic and mechanical
the opposites coalesced and shattered the nicely organized categories we had arranged
all became One, and One became all
and we forgot why we even bothered to try to contain this mystery... |
