The "Yes" that is always yes Might not be the real Yes. It numbs you, and fixes you onto a wall.
The Yes after so many "No"s The timorous No, then, the confident No, Is the real Yes.
The Yes, which roots into the cracks of the wall That the preceding Nos drill, Opens like a fresh flower on this ancient wall.
The real Yes tells nothing of the truth Like the stars twinkling, are just being stars Oh, don't be seduced by the beautifying stories, The real Yes is a smile, not a symbol.
