sweep through the past with a magnifying glass of awareness zoom in and out of countless moments divided only by the relativity of spacetime, expanding glean purpose and meaning from the bits and pieces of scattered memories
seemingly solid in their impermanent forms all dancing upon a permanent presence feel, and reach beyond feeling by dieing with breathless surrender become the Oneness that is that was that will be that never left nor ceased to be and still, i wonder... i wonder, still... i...still...wonder |

Hi Bodhi,
Beautifully written and nailed it again.
Have you found that the wonder (or what I call curiosity) is what causes the magnifying glass to grow ever wider (and deeper)?
Best regards, Jeff |

Unity to all: bewell, maheswari, Shanti, kami, jeff, and sunyata.
@Jeff: Yes indeed. That sense of wonderment and curiousity seems to stretch awareness beyond its normal limits--reaching into forgotten (or newly discovered) places. I also find that with increasing curiousity/wonderment, there is a proportional reduction in fear/anxiety when it comes to venturing into new realms of consciousness, including some of the more "shadowy" pockets.
The Light wants to reach all places. |

Very, very true...
Or, from another perspective... There are always more obstructions to clear. |

Indeed!
One of my favorite metaphors is one I heard from a Zen teacher in San Francisco. He said that the process of purification and opening is kind of like being a jagged rock that's been dropped into a river. Over time, the flow of the river rounds off the edges and polishes the stone. So many stones to polish. I think I'm stoned by stillness. Yeeesssssss... |
