A feature has been added so that when you are embedding a link in selected text in a post using the "insert hyperlink" button in the post or reply window, a dialog box will open where you can type or paste the link and it will be automatically formatted in the post.
It may be necessary to refresh the page in your browser a time or two to get this feature working. Once it is working on one page, it should work on all pages without having to refresh your browser again.
This feature eliminates the need to manipulate the code when inserting embedded links, which is consistent with the way most programs work these days.
