dont know who wrote this but i bumped into it today...and it is so true. . God does not give you the people you want, he gives you the people you need. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you the person you were meant to be
i am not sure if the title in english is accurate..what i mean by the title that each person we meet (not only in relationships) is the correct person we need to meet to enable us evolve more spiritually ..this applies to both sides....maybe a more positive title would be:trust and allow
That resonates very, very deeply with my current life experience (especially when it comes to spontaneous meetings). Though I do think the line between "want" and "need" gets blurred sometimes, and that is when personal will is keenly attuned to divine will.
