Treating polytheism and monotheism as equally valid - I mentioned it already in Victor's legitimacy of _I AM dealing a little bit Indian monotheist and polytheist approaches - is normally not shared in theology.
But the Philosopher Schelling accepted such sights 1841ss in his philosophy of revelation lecturing also on yoga promoting the sight that new Christian revelations and evangalies are necessary - an idea of Novalis 1794 and first researches in Indian philosophies and religions with the behren Schlegel and the wheel of karma 1806 - 09.
His argumentation I cannot remember and may base on his fights against dualism by a synthesis of oneness.
