Sri Ramakrishna: "Very good. It is enough to have faith in either aspect. You believe in God without form; that is quite all right. But never for a moment think that this alone is true and all else false. Remember that God with form is just as true as God without form. But hold fast to your own conviction."

~ Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna

Treating polytheism and monotheism as equally valid - I mentioned it already in Victor's legitimacy of _I AM dealing a little bit Indian monotheist and polytheist approaches - is normally not shared in theology.

But the Philosopher Schelling accepted such sights 1841ss in his philosophy of revelation lecturing also on yoga promoting the sight that new Christian revelations and evangalies are necessary - an idea of Novalis 1794 and first researches in Indian philosophies and religions with the behren Schlegel and the wheel of karma 1806 - 09.

His argumentation I cannot remember and may base on his fights against dualism by a synthesis of oneness.
