"le lacher prise" (surrender) starts with Understanding based on experience and not on beliefs when we speak etc...it seems it is personal, but if we look closely everything is just happening...happening inside and outside all is cosmic flow "le lacher prise” is not an act of will, it is an Understanding that everything is the cosmic flow it is not something we do , it is not an effort it is an Understanding and in this surrender there is action action coming from surrender we can be the witness of the action and the action is coming from our body in this moment when i am talking and acting etc… the thoughts that come...nothing is personal it is an unfoldment (Francis Lucille) .........
will add something to what Francis Lucille says...surrender based on understanding comes from "personal" experience..."the seeker" who has this experience "he" intuitively knows...no need for confirmation because the Truth of the non existence of a separate entity shines by itself,solid,no need for confirmation.... when there is the understanding that there is no real separate entity,le lacher prise is instantaneous...like a ripe fruit that falls from the tree as long as there is no understanding, le lacher prise will only be the surrender talks and beliefs mentioned in belief systems this latter form is impermanent and weak but in order to have this Understanding, inner silence/the witness should be cultivated first and inner silence/witness is cultivated only through meditation for many years for most people very rare are those who have immediately a direct experience so in fact it starts with meditation
