i have a habit..every few weeks i take a day off from work and go do a morning hatha yoga session as a student...i find it so refreshing...will always remain a student even if i do teach asanas... anyway, this morning, the instructor who is a good friend also, read a quote by Rumi that profoundly touched me ...my eyes stayed wet for around 15 minutes...felt a big opening...was doing the class with wet eyes...loll i googled the quote but i did not find it...anyway it is something like this: did not you notice that water only runs where the land is low? so be low...and let the water run...let the water fill every empty hole then drink...drink from this water till satiety
ps: i was not sure where to post this thread...if moderators want to move it for better placement please do so
Loving-kindness is drawn to the saint as medicine is drawn to the pain it must cure Where there is pain, the remedy follows: wherever the lowlands are the water goes If you want the water of mercy make your self low Then drink the wine of mercy and be drunk Mercy upon mercy rises to your head like a flood Don't settle on a single mercy O son, bring the sky beneath your feet And listen to celestial music every where
