What is an optimal order of the following practices?
bhastrika kapalabhati ujjayi (with chin lock in antar kumbhaka) maha bandha nadi shodhana (no kumbhaka, nostrils closed by fingers) surya bheda (no kunbhaka) brahmari
When replying, please could you explain your criteria of optimality for a practice, as well as giving your opinion. Thank you.

Hi img,
When I do I start off with nadi shodan first.
1.Nadi shodan pranayama 2.Ujjai breath can be done in child pose or just any time(while doing SBP we use ujjai breath). 3.surya bheda 4.kapalbati. 5.Bastrika(I usually end the bastrik by enhaling and exhaling through left nostril to cool the body and then do 2 more pranayamas) 6.seetali pranayama 7.sitkari pranayama 8.brahmari

Namaste... I agree those ingredients are enjoyable in Astanga as well, but IMNSHO Pranyama is a lot more "front and center" in Tantra (that's similar to bandha, mudra, and kriya).
