Hey guys,
Obviously when a guy gets turned on we create sexual energy and usually guys release. However there are practices that we can do such as breathing and drawing the energy up the body and out of the groin area. But what about when we get turned and don't do anything. That high level of sexual energy diminishes or calms but what happens to it? Does it just disappear or does the body automatically circulate it through the body. It seems like it would be counter productive if our body produced all the energy it takes to get turned on and then just ditched it.
I'm thinking of watching porn or just visualising having sex with hot girls but not doing anything and just letting the energy be circulated through my body. Does that actually build up the sexual energy that is stored in the body?
Plus if I spend a week doing this and then release does the body also release the stored sexual energy or only the energy produced in that current moment of arousal?
I find that once my arousal has subsided I feel fine like I don't have sex on the mind but as soon as I notice a girl I find attractive I'm turned on and I can feel a stronger edge/vibration to the sensations.
Then I was thinking, over the years I've read a few things about directing the sexual energy like into the eyes, so I figured I could start doing that, playing with the energy more.
So my aim is to be more in touch with my sexual energy side so that when I am out I have that raw masculine sexual edge and feel more in touch with my sexual side.
Thanks! |

Hi Magnatolia
You might not have read the Tantra section. It has a lot of information that would be of interest to you. http://www.aypsite.org/TantraDirectory.html
When you say that you become aroused and you are worried about the energy leaving: Well, if you are doing Spinal Breathing followed by DM your body will be changing to direct the sexual energy upwards instead of downwards anyway. Add the tantric practies (if you want) after a few months of practicing DM and SB. Because self-pacing is very important! In my experience, Siddhasana was stimulating enough for while, so Tantra was the last thing on my mind! That's why you need to do take time with when adding a new practice.
In time the arousal will go upwards and you will feel ecstatic bliss which will radiate out into your surroundings.
When you 'release' energy will be lost. That is why cultivating and preserving your sexual energy can be an important spiritual practice. I think I remember Yogani wrote that an ordinary ejaculation, once a week, will not be detrimental to your practice. The lost energy will recover, but if you retain it then your progress will be faster (in theory, I couldn't tell you because you can only do on or the other!). It's like you are trying to bail out a boat while throwing water back in. If that makes sense (sounded clever in my head)?
Not sure about moving energy up to your eyes. In Spinal Breathing we are moving the energy up to our third eye (the one between our eyes, not the one down there ) By doing this the spinal nerve (sushumna) - from the perineum travelling up the the third eye is cleared and the energy gradually moves up and out.
Take care! |

I find inhaling it up the spine...in between the eyebrow center and letting it flow like a fountain out and over the top of the head helps.

Good advice above. Don't send the energy to your eyes; it can have bad effects. It can interfere with normal muscle command signals. Just send it as taught in the lessons. I knew a guy who sent K energy to his arm to heal an injury. His arm started flapping around uncontrollably for 5 or 10 minutes and scared the crap out of him! |
