Our Influence, how far how much?
If you buy into the fact ( ooops can't say fact), if you buy into the notion that this creation is one continuous mass of consciousness, then that means perhaps we influence it. Why ? 'cause we use this consciousness 7x24x365. Lets take a look at one piece of this AYP influence:
If on avg. each of you folks meditate 30* min 2X per day then we have the following:
399 members X 30 min X 2 times per day or 399 hours of transcending or at least experiencing finer levels of thinking per day.
That in general pumps sattva ( ~ purity) into the environment. 399 hours = 16.625 days of wholeness each day, into the atmosphere. That’s 6,068 days per year or 16.625 years of positive (innocent) influence of good-ness per year of meditating that is generated.
It said when people meditate at the same time then the influence is squared or you get 276 days of influence per day from a group this size [ now we're smok'n!]
What if at the end of this meditation, while one sits in silence for a few min, s/he chooses to have a simple intent, a simple desire that is of goodness… that is ' peace on earth'. Just wondered if that would produce the desired effect? Hummm… interesting question.
* Footnote - for those that meditate 20 min, there are those that meditate more, so on avg. 30 min may seem reasonable for this conversation [I hope].
