Where is the dark but inside me
And the darker the deeper I go
and the days are broken with sorrow
as sleep breaks the dew

The silver studded sunset
gives way to deepest night
and the stars smile but faintly
beneath the ringwraith's might.

Where are you little princess?
Where your fairy's light?
I sought you for a century
my desire brought me only death.

Oh dear death I welcome you
Reap my bitter coil
I have heard of no sleep
But I know not you.
