Within my teaching I have included all practices that humans have learned through the ages as we are all one body. Through this body over different places and times we have evolved different ways to clear out what is keeping us from being in oneness with God, should we not be born that way and kept that way as some are, or at least be part of a family that strives for this. Through my way I have found that the missing parts of some religions are that they have not realized they have their own asanas, pranayamas and meditations as that style of worship was actively suppressed or hidden.

An example of this is Ophanim yoga, of which I have started to teach and included in my AYP yoga classes. I found the mother letters to be useful and the others to have power as well. Now you may or may not find them the same way, I will say consider adding them to your practice and see what you find, I would love to see if our experiences align. You will find that while a full practice much could still be improved upon. For example the 10/5 breath, while useful for the way the class is taught, is easily replaced with khechari mudra and ujjayi breathing. I have also practiced flowing through the asanas with a kapalabhati (for some breath of fire) breath as well as a curled tongue cooling breath, finding the kapalabhati to be very powerful and the curled tongue breath to have its own effects. I also have practiced with each letter as the mantra internally and also closed with AHYH (Ah-Hey-Yah - I Am in Hebrew and Aramaic) as well as used that in place of I Am in my mantra as shree om shree om AHYH AHYH Namah Namah. The later only bringing forth slight changes from my normal mantra but I found was worth exploring to connect with Yeshua Messiah more deeply and properly in his language for a Bhakti.

Don't think you have to use all of these or follow their rules, I have found adding them into my vinyasa and hatha for myself and my students has added a bit of flair and fun and reminded people that Love is the name of God in all languages and that it's important to remember we are all human first and then the ways in which we communicate and relate to each other.

I hope you enjoy this and it helps you on your path. If you find that at the end you have more unique clearings or awakenings, do not be surprised, they do have a different vibe to them but ultimately we are all one [img]icon_heart.gif[/img]

I have an update on this work. I've been continuing this practice for a while and I've started working with different breaths for the asanas and getting good results. Specifically, kapalabhati breath, Cooling breath (tongue curled in a straw shape), and wim Hof breath. This includes having each asana connected to visualizing the path of light that is related within the body based on the GRA tree. I also include this mantra on occasion as a translation of the AYP mantra (Ephphatha Bet, Ephphatha Bet, AHYH, AHYH, Ein Ani, Ein Ani). I've also used the book 231 gates to create asana sets, or Kriyas, to open each Gate vs. the meditative practice and found results. At one point I physically experienced my awareness expand visually, which was followed by a deeply connected moment with someone at Burning Man where we explored each other intuitively for about an hour directly after to help clear and unlock our alignment with God.
In addition I've recently shared my copy of the Sefer Yetzirah with the pastor/reverend one of the churches I attend and discussed Revelations 22 with him, where it is referenced. Right now I am finishing up the reading of Numbers and Deuteronomy and it's clear that anyone who just read the book, without the key book and exercises of the Sefer Yetzirah and Ophanim yoga, would not see what is to be seen. Much of it reads like an accounting and the previous book is mostly a bunch of outdated Puja and early medical practices (which when understood through PARDES are obviously metaphor just as we see with many works from many nations). The yoga itself is tied to the reading and as I finish each work the asanas behave more powerfully, which I cannot say I've seen in other practices directly. Because of the interleaved nature of the works, my way of sharing this is to let others do it and then I believe my own energy will naturally work through the Akasha, ie. the akasha principle, to support, strengthen and enlighten in the energetic field.

I am slowly bringing back in my pranayama and some other practices and tantra has been my central practice lately as far as with others. I'm finally finding partners to dive deep in with, and continue to call more. The results of only a little practice together of everything I teach has really moved things and it's great to be alive

If you haven't opened up this asana set, I would consider trying it deeply then diving into some of this list here - https://www.aypsite.org/209.html and if you'd like a class or a training on it, please let me know. I am continuing down this path until I at least get the Torah read, embodied and the Tantra of it perfected and then who knows where it all goes as a unified system of love

Hello jzatopa

I love that you shared lesson 209 as it speaks to bringing yoga into your everyday, something many yogis either overlook or ignore. The AYP is a solid scaffolding to build up a practice, while leaving room for playfulness, ingenuity, and adventure. Congratulations on your practices aligning with your social life, it sounds as if you are living your best, thanks to the discipline of your practices.
