Poet and Poetry

My life is always
like a poem in progress
The instant it's born
is a timeless here-now

The next is not known
It is unborn and constant
Implicit potential
in an infinite space

Not one single word
is perceived as separate
If I do;
then the poem is dead

To be a poet
is not to do poetry
I am a poet
by allowing the flow

A poet being
is a transparent window
The poem itself
emanates and shines through

That is the most beautiful compliment I have ever had

I honestly don't feel the poems are mine. They come through in a matter of minutes, and I am always in a love state when I write them.
(Or in deep pain - but I haven't yet posted any of those....)

I've only had a brief interlude with this love out of emptiness but feel I'm hovering on the edge of entering it again. The energy of disipline coming from this forum is helping me greatly in this.
