I often wake up to music with fantastic lyrics from my radio in the mornings. I'm amazed how many artists have written very illuminated lyrics, and somehow they always send me exactly the message I need to hear. Please, feel free to add lyrics here if you know of any, and particularly interesting with those from artists NOT known to be "spriritual".

Weee... I'm really surprised by this song. Every time she sings "everytime we touch ..." bliss starts raining, and on "everytime we kiss ..." there's even more bliss and this soft kiss coming, and I burst out in tears and hands stretch up to heaven during the lyrics "I reach for the sky"... and on "I swear I could fly" I get the same feeling of lightness as when I say "akasha" during samyama...... What a song! |

emc, I usually like the faster (trance) version of the song, but this one affected me much more. Ecstasy rose up my spine for most of the song. Her voice is divine
If you're ecstatically sensitive to music, you might enjoy trance. There is a lot of emotion in it. And much of it deals with Love.

I had a great meditation tonight, lots of opening and release... I almost always have a song playing inside and often the lyrics carry direct messages of what I need to hear at the moment. Tonight... the attention was strongly drawn to this song:

What hit me suddenly when I was listening to the lyrics, was that it was not a worship song sung from me to the Divine... it was totally the other way around... It was sung to "me" from the Divine... *tears, tears, crying... turning into laughter... laugh, laugh*

Cosmic, I'm glad you sense the divine in Cascadas slow version! I can understand the capability of trance music to bring on altered states. I sense some sort of low frequent vibe from it in my stomach, though... doesn't really make me fly...

Yes! Sigur Ros has a very ethereal sound to them. Like listening in on heaven . I saw a movie about them recently. The people in Iceland seem very innocent and way mellow. And they live in such a beautiful land. |
