Suck This
Our landscape seems grimly dry, as if deprived of something essential. In our disenchantment, we bury our hearts.
Those around us seem fearful and anxious, as if deprived of something essential. In our disenchantment, we bury our hearts.
The very Earth seems to be deterioriating, as if deprived of something essential. In our disenchantment, we bury our hearts.
The vacuum of space seems angrily, tightly covetous, as if deprived of something essential. In our disenchantment, we bury our hearts.
Enough!
I offer forth with complete abandon my naked heart, which I don't claim to know, for the landscape, the fearful, the Earth, and the vacuum of space to suckle from to satiation. |

LMAO! For some reason, this morbid appraisal of our current situation (not to mention the slightly profane title) has got me chuckling heartily--I mean, good gut-busting laughter--so thank you, Jim! |

Bodhi Tree - thanks for the reply. I like getting a laugh, and am glad you liked the title, but the appraisal isn't morbid so much as misguided. Read again; I've discovered what that undefinable something is that everything seems to be missing. I've been reversing cause/effect all along! |
