Jon Hopkins released an album a couple months ago called "Ritual," and I think it's worth posting here. The opener just pulls me in and I immediately find myself in a vast space. Then around the 4 minute mark there's an introduction of a sort of mantra which serves as a backbone for most of the rest of the album. Parts iv through vi represent a further development of this mantra, from subtlety in part iv, eventually expanding into the absolutely spectacular part vi, "solar goddess return." After this, the final tracks are a sort of spacious reflection as the mantra falls away.

This album makes my whole body tingle, and it starts instantaneously at the intro. I'm so blown away, guys! Like, this to me is a great example of using art to transmit something profound and beautiful. Highly recommend for the curious.

P.S. Since this is separate tracks freely avaialble on youtube, there may be slight pauses between tracks. If you have one, I'd recommend looking this up on a streaming service instead.

Thanks for sharing! I just listened to it. What a ride!
There is a lot in these tracks to discover! This album really seems to be made for yoga-refined hearing (and some good headphones). The cat purring (and yawning ) is such a loving way to end.

I'm big fan of Jon Hopkins "Music for Psychedelic Therapy", especially the track "Tayos Caves, Ecuador" oozes love.

Ah yes, the cat at the end! I also love the lighter clicks at the beginning. Incense? Candles? Other?

Tayos Caves is a great one, too! I've had it saved in my liked playlist on Spotify ever since it randomly came on one day. I'll admit I still haven't listened to MfPT all the way through, but the opener, "Welcome," also gives me chills like the opening to Ritual. I've been a fan of his since the 2013 album "Immunity," and he consistently takes me somewhere else. "Open Eye Signal" will forever be a classic for me!
